On June, the 7th, class 6D celebrated the end of the school year preparing a lunch together.They prepared a typical Portuguese meal: green soup, as a starter and duck rice with chestnuts (a local ingredient) for main course.They also prepared different healthy salads with lettuce, arugula, cucumber, spinach, mango, kiwi and orange, as they had previously learnt with our project. For dessert they had fruit salad, ice cream and walnut cake prepared by the students and parents at home. It was a very busy morning - first, students went shopping, while others started laying the table and preparing everything. Finally, at lunch time, the school headteacher, other teachers and class 6D enjoyed this delicious meal.
On the same day all the students participating in the project got a certificate. They all enjoyed all the activities and have learnt new things together, so they would like to go on participating in eTwinning projects next year.
